For more information call farmers Anne and Paul at (734) 433-0261, or send an email to CommunityFarmInfo@gmail.com. The share costs for 2010 will be: Average Cost Per Share (2010): $1175 If you’re not used to seeing your produce bills for the year in one lump sum, this may seem like a lot. But if you buy these amounts of biodynamic produce, you would spend more than this, and not have the added advantages of having a place in the country, a community of like-minded people, the freshest food you’ve ever eaten (except what comes from your garden), the fun of watching your children interact with animals and plants, and the joy of contributing to the creation of a healthy world. Many members share shares. You can split the cost, splitting the weekly share, or taking shares on alternate weeks. If you want to find a share partner, the Farm can help. Would you like to be part of the Community Farm but just don't have time to cook? Now for the fourth year, apprentice and long time farm member Mary Wessel Walker will pick up shares and cook them into almost-ready-to-serve meals. Find out more. |
